The Wolf and The Seven Children
Once upon a time, in a peaceful forest, there lived a mother goat and her seven playful kids. On a sunny day, the goat’s mother had to leave her children at home when she set out to find food. Before leaving, he warned his children about the cunning wolf roaming the forest. “Don’t open the door for anyone but me!” He warned. The children promised to stay inside and be careful.
However, the clever wolf soon came along, determined to deceive the children. He approached the door and tried to imitate the voice of the goat’s mother. “Open the door, my dear children! This is your mother!” He called out with love. The children looked out the window cautiously, but they couldn’t see their mother.
The wolf then painted its claws white to make them look like a goat’s mother. When the children saw the white claws and heard the soft sound, they became fools. They opened the door, and the wolf came in running! He quickly captured six children, but the youngest managed to hide.
When the goat’s mother returned home, she was heartbroken to find that her children were missing. The youngest child bravely told him what had happened.
Together, the two made a clever plan. They decided to open the wolf while he was sleeping, revealing six children, unharmed but scared inside his stomach.
To ensure that the wolf did not disturb them again, they filled his stomach with heavy stones. When the wolf woke up and tried to drink water from the well, the stones were too heavy and he fell in, never seen again.
